Play At The Races Stableduel Novices' Handicap Chase
(Class 5) (0-100, 4yo+) 2m Soft 12 fences. Eight horses went to post and James Davies took the ride, he was led up by our head girl Kirsty Huff who also rides him at home. He is such a gorgeous horse with great scope and athletism, but unfortunately has a wind problem. He jumped and travelled beautifully and then stopped like he had been shot and pulled up. It is so frustrating as he is the BEST work horse at home. Many of you have commented on his videos. We have tried everything , he has had the full wind op works with Ben Brain and he has run on all sorts of ground, and trips and on the flat.
After much discussion his owners and I have rightly decided very sadly that is the end of his jumping career , but we may give him one last spin on the flat again if there is ever any better ground.
When the time comes to re home him, he is going to make some one a super fun horse. He is so so kind and jumps for fun. Kirsty would have him like a shot if she didn't already have three . His stable name is Ted, Teddy Bear.
