Easter Monday - Stable News

We have four runners today, two going to Huntingdon Racecourse and two Plumpton Races. The sun is shining and Spring is in the air !!

Our First runner is " River Tyne" at Huntingdon in the 12:35

Huntingdon 2m7½f (2m7f129y) Happy Easter From Rhino.Bet Mares' Handicap Chase (Class 5) (5yo+ 0-1)

River ran really well, enjoying herself being handy, jumped really well but just didn't find anything in the finish and so it's ANOTHER 2nd place for River!! This is the 9th time she has been 2nd, great that she runs well but also very frustrating for her lovely owners "Team Allan" . River was ridden by James Davies and led up by Ella Garland who rides River at home.

Our second runner is "Belargus" for J.P. McManus who runs in the 2:45 Huntingdon

1 APR 2024 RTV2m7½f (2m7f129y) Daily Football Offers At Rhino.Bet Handicap Chase (Class 4) (5yo+ 0-120). Belarus is on good form at home, he takes a bit longer to get fit now he is bit older and has been for plenty of away gallops. Hopefully he will enjoy the ground and run well. James Davies takes the ride. Belarus will be led up by Ella Garland...Good Luck all

Our third runner is "Eliza Dolittle" owned by Mr Mike O'Shea and runs in the 3pm 3m1f (3m217y) Thank You Jamie Moore Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) (4yo+ 0-100) Plumpton Races. Eleven runners go to post. Millie as we call her at home will be led up by Hannah West who also rides her at home. She is a tough filly, so Good luck connections and Team Gifford.

Our final runner is "Takeachancewithme" who is having her debut as a 6 year old in the bumper@Plumpton Races. It will be a whole new experience going racing, so hopefully she will cope with that okay. She has been for a couple of away gallops to get her used to going away etc. We will learn a whole lot more about her today. Note the colour change. Doris as we call her at home will be ridden by Tabitha Worsley. Hannah West will lead her up. Ally Holway rides her a lot at home and looks after her.
