Stable News- Update

Yesterday Fairway Freddy ran at Huntingdon ridden by Tom Cannon in the 2:20Huntingdon 22 Feb 2018 Smarkets Novices’ Hurdle.  He finished 9th out of 14 runners, he travelled very well for the majority of the race, was clever over his hurdles, but then stopped quite quickly again.  A disappointing run to what he shows at home, but it may well be the ground which was very tiring and did not suit him.   We are in no doubt he has ability like he has shown in his bumper and at home, we just need to find the key to him.  He has already had an overland scope to check his breathing which showed up nothing.

Tomorrow we have one runner “The Mighty Don” who will run  in the 1:15 Kempton 24 FEB 2018 RUK 2m5f (Winter) Back Or Lay On Betdaq Handicap Hurdle (Class 3) (4yo+ 0-135).  he will be ridden by Leighton Aspell and he needs to run a big race tomorrow if he is to get an entry at Cheltenham.  He is on good form at home,  he is still maturing but has plenty of ability.  So Good Luck to “The Mighty don team”

On Sunday we have four runners at Fontwell.  Brown Bear runs in the 2:50 Fontwell 25 FEB 2018 ATR 2m5½f (2m5f135y) totequadpot Handicap Chase (Class 4) (5yo+ 0-110) and will be ridden by Leighton Aspell.  He is on great form at home and hopefully won’t mind the ground.  Good Luck to “The Bear Necessities Syndicate”.

Then we have Puppet Warrior in the 3:55 Fontwell 25 FEB 2018 ATR 2m3f (2m3f49y) totepool Supporting The Racehorse Sanctuary Novices’ Hurdle (Class 4) (5yo+) who will be ridden by Tom Cannon.  He is so consistent and somewhat unlucky having been second 6 times, so fingers crossed for another amazing run from Puppet Warrior.

Next is “canyouringmeback” AKA Sparky who runs in the 4:55 Fontwell 25 FEB 2018 ATR 2m5½f (2m5f164y) totetrifecta Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) (4yo+ 0-120).  We are looking for a big run from Sparky on what hopefully will be better ground for him.  He is on great form at home and will be ridden by Nick Schofield.

Last but not least we have “Whitmore Con ” who will run in the bumper.  He is a stunning horse who ran very well in his first bumper then the next one was not really run to suit, turning in to a sprint.  He is very well at home and we are looking for a positive run from him.  He will be ridden by Jamie Davies.

We hope that all of  the racing will be on and that the horses run well!!
