23rd December – Stable News

WOW The Mighty Don ran a cracker, arguably his career best in the Longwalk Hurdle at Ascot yesterday to finish 4th in less than ideal ground.  He is very consistent in his runs and justified his place in a Grade 1.  All connections were thrilled and had an amazing day out.  He has come out of his race fine apart from a little cut under his fetlock.  We look forward to planning Cheltenham for this one.

Theo’s Charm also ran a good race up at Haydock to finish 3rd.  He was ridden by Rex Dingle, we may try him in a tongue tie for his next run.  He did tire very quickly after the last and travelling very well.

Now a couple of quiet days before Kempton on Boxing day, where we have “Glen Rocco” and “Didtheyleaveyououtto” running.  A very Merry Christmas to you all from everyone at “Nick Gifford Racing”  Have a good one !!
