“Paddy’s poem” ran another cracker, a good strong solid race to finish 3rd at Plumpton , ridden by Leighton Aspel in the “Download The At The Races App Novices’ Hurdle” He is a really exciting future chaser. We very much look forward to see him switching to handicap hurdles soon. He is a very tough genuine sort , he is a big horse and we have taken our time with him. All connections are thrilled with his run. He coped well with the ground too.

Then Glen Rocco ran in the At The Races Sky 415 EBF “National Hunt” Novices’ Hurdle (Qualifier) ridden by Tom Cannon,  He finished third.  Tom said he didn’t really appreciate the ground,  it could have just done with a bit of rain as it was quite holding/testing ground because it was starting to dry on top.  So was very tiring .  Still we were pleased with his run and will now look for some more suitable ground in a few weeks.
Mitchell Bastyan claiming 7 rode “Project Mars” in the handicap hurdle.  Unfortunately because of the low sun they omitted some of the hurdles and the race was more like a flat race.  Project Mars also hated the ground and never got in to the race.  That is certainly a run you can just put a line through.  Hopefully the handicapper may also look to lower his mark bit as he is badly handicapped.
We could have a busy week this coming week and I will post a further update with what that may look like shortly.
The main thing is all the horses all came back safe and sound and two out of the three were positive runs that we can build on.   All of the  three of the runs we can learn from .
