Another beautiful sunny day and a long drive up to Haydock for Andrew Tony Veale and Keirston Horsall from Horsemove ( the best equine transport company out there !!!) with the gorgeous Theo’s Charm.  Theo as he is affectionately known will be ridden by Tom Cannon in the 3:50 Haydock 17 FEB 2018 RUK2m7f (2m6f177y) Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle (Series Qualifier) (Class 2) (5yo+).   So we know he likes the track, he was second in this race last year.  He is on great form at home and he has an each way chance again.  He did have a bad fall this year when he was taken out at the first fence at Ascot, we then ran him again and he was disappointing, never really attacking his fences, so that is why he is running back over hurdles.  He is a very honest horse but out of this ground he does not have the scope to attack the big fences, always chipping in which means you lose ground.  So fingers crossed he will be back on his best form today over the smaller obstacles.  Good Luck team Gifford and owner Mike O’shea.
