28th November – Stable News

We had two runners at Lingfield , “Didtheyleaveuoutto” for JP  and ”Paddy’s Poem” for Tracy Brown.

Didtheyleaveuoutto was ridden by Leighton Aspel in the all weather bumper. we had hopes that he would finish in the first three.  He is a stunning Presenting 4 year old gelding who we like a lot, but until you get them on the track you never know.  Well a very pleasing first run, where he made it look very easy.  We very much look forward to his future.

Paddy’s Poem was also ridden by Leighton Aspel. This was Paddy’s first time over hurdles and first run of the season ,it was a big field in very soft testing ground. He is a cracking stamp of a horse , every inch of 16.2hh and still a bit of filling out to do. For his first run of the season , he ran a cracker just getting a bit tired at the end. There was a three minute delay at the start and he was pulling like train for the majority of the race so just tired in the closing stages. We will look for better ground for him and just concentrate on getting him to settle in his races. He finished 8th out of 16. He is an exciting prospect for the furture and a very genuine sort . So exciting !!
