Theo’s Charm 2010 Dark Bay gelding by Presenting










A stunning Dark Bay gelding by Presenting owned by Mr Michael O’Shea.  A very promising individual who won his first bumper at Huntingdon, then finished 3rd in his next bumper  at Ascot badly hampered.  He finished a very credible 7th in the Champion Bumper at the festival on ground that was not ideal.   This season he finished 3rd first time out running very well at Kempton.  There is a lot to look forward to with this very smart horse.  He has continued to be a tough consistent horse winning at twice at Plumpton  over hurdles in December 2015 and Jan 2016.  He has now switched to fences and has been 2nd  3 times at Haydock, Plumpton and Exeter.  He is now switching back to hurdles.

Puppet Warrior (2012) Chestnut Gelding – by   Black Sam Bellamy Ex Racajack

Puppet Warrior has finished 2nd six times for us.  He is a lovely tough genuine horse with a great attitude and future.  He is owned by Phillipa Wates.  He will now have a go at chasing.

Alka Step (IRE) ( 2011) Grey Gelding-  by Alkadem

A new recruit for this year, he has won a P2P in Ireland and looks an exciting prospect for this coming season.  Unfortunately he has had a set back and won’t be back until next season.








Prouts Pub (2009) Bay gelding by Catcher in the Rye









Prouts Pub is a lovely bay gelding who has taken a little while to get to the bottom of.  He is a gorgeous stamp who belongs to The Nick Gifford Racing Club and has enjoyed a win at Fontwell and been in the frame on other occasions , he did not take to chasing so will remain hurdling for now.  He was very unlucky to fall at Fontwell on his latest outing going very well.  He will run on the flat and over hurdles.  He has also had a minor injury and hopefully will be back in the Autumn.


Swift Native 2014 filly by Mahler out of a Be my Native mare.








A stunning filly for The Nick Gifford Racing Club, she has won a point to point in Ireland .  She has had one run for us on terrible ground, we are waiting for better ground and she will be out again.


Notre Ami (2011) By Kalanisi











Bought as a young store horse, a recruit for ‘The Boys’that we have taken our time with.  He was 5th in his first bumper, then he won and then he was 2nd.  He had a tiny niggle and was been rested for the back end of last season  He is a stunning stamp of a horse needed time to fill his frame and strengthen up.  He has won two Novice hurdles this season at Sandown and Kempton.  He is a quality horse who will shortly be going Novice Chasing.

Lady Tallulah (2014) by September Storm 

Tallulah was broken in in 2017 and will run in a number late Spring this year.  She is a tough feisty filly and we look forward to seeing her progress.











Brown Bear  (2011) Bay Gelding by Yeats

Owned by The Bear Necessities Syndicate.

A  lovely horse , out of Straw Bear’s half sister and owned by The Bear Necessities Syndicate.  He has won five times including at Ascot.  He runs over hurdles and fences and continues to improve.  he will be out again soon when we get better ground.

Market Court ( 2011) Bay Gelding by Court Cave

A stunning gelding who ran in a bumper last season, he then had a slight niggle and being such a big horse we gave him the rest of the season off.  He has had  few runs this season pulling up on more than one occasion on heavy ground.  We are waiting for better ground for him and he will try his hand at fences.

Party Royal (2010) Bay Gelding by Royal Applause









A flat recruit to run on the flat in the mile and a half amateur riders handicaps for Nicks’ cousin David Dunsdon.   He has won at Salisbury with David and was 3rd at Sandown and he also has won already this season.

Cashanova  2011 By Arcadio

A lovely 6 year old by Arcadio bought at a Cheltenham sale .  He was second in a bumper for Henry Daly .  He has taken a little while to settle, but is really getting the hang of the game with some promising runs this season.  He will continue to run in Novice Hurdles this season and might try his hand over fences.

Did They Leave You Out Too  4 year old Gelding by Presenting

“Didtheyleaveyououtto” and impressive winner of two bumpers including a listed bumper at Ascot where he beat 10 other bumper winners.  Unfortunately at Cheltenham the ground was against him.  He is a very exciting prospect for the future.













Black Lightening (2013) By Whitmore’s Conn


A 5 year old  who is in full training, owned by Don Trangmar .  He has had two runs in bumpers , he finished 2nd in his first bumper at Plumpton and then he ran at Newbury,  he finished about 7th of 11 , they hack cantered and then it turned in to a sprint which did not suit him.  We look forward to seeing him run again soon when we get some better ground.

Snowy Oscar (2013)  Gelding by Oscar

Snowy Oscar, a stunning gelding by Oscar , he has run three times for us.  He is a very buzzy horse who needs to learn to settle in his races.  He is improving all the time but, he will take time to learn to settle.

Project Mars ( 2012) Gelding By Presenting

Project Mars has had a few runs in  bumpers and hurdles.  He has since finished 2nd and 3rd , so a  promising start and we look forward to the seeing him again this season.


Paddy’s Poem (2011 gelding) by Proclamation ( IRE) 



A stunning homebred belonging to T.J.Stone-Brown.  Paddy ran in a bumper last season . He is a big strapping horse with a lovely temperament that will be a future chaser.  He finished 3rd out of 9 ridden by Leighton on his last run.  We can’t wait to see him run again soon

Solar Glory 4 year old gelding by Fame and Glory-








His dam is full sister to Rouble and Kopeck ( that Josh trained) and also in the dams pedigree further down is ‘Nick the Brief’ ( the two time Irish Gold Cup Winner ).  He has got plenty about him and will not take long to get on the racecourse.  He will be ready to run late Spring/Early summer.  He is going to have to learn to settle too as he is very buzzy but improving all the time.

Delta Rose 4 year old Filly by Robin Des Champs









Nick bough this stunning filly by Robin Des Champs at the Goffs Landrover Sales in Ireland .  She is a lovely stamp that we will plan to  run in a bumper in late Spring/early summer.  She had a minor setback and so we did lose abit of time with her.  She is a strapping big filly wo will make a chaser in time.  So lots to look forward to with her.

Give Him Time 2011 gelding SireKalanisi (IRE) (12.2f)DamDelayed (FR)

A stunning gelding that has been somewhat inconsistent last season.  However towards the end of the season we have seen an improvement.  He finished 2nd on his last run at Fontwell and we look forward to seeing the horse we have on the gallops at home on the race track this season.  He has been placed a fe times on the flat over the winter with the ground being so wet.


Glen Rocco  2011 Chestnut gelding by Shirocco








Glen Rocco won his point to point last year as a 5 year old, he has had a setback after his run so had to miss last season and most of this season.  He will come back in to training in July 2018 and be ready to run early Autumn.  He is a big strapping chaser type owned by Mr Kyle and Mr Ged Mason.

Fairway Freddy 2013 gelding by Elusive Pimpernel








Fairway Freddy was bought at the breeze up sales at Cheltenham and is owned by “The New Gold Dream” partnership.  He ran very well to finish third in his bumper at Fakenham.  He is ready to run and we are waiting for better ground.

Rear Guard 2014- Gelding By Oscar






A stunning 3 year old Oscar gelding who will make a chaser.  We will be taking our time with him, his aim  being chasing.  ”His dam bred Fruity O Rooney”.

A stunning Chestnut gelding bought at The Newmarket Horses in training sales out of the Roger Varian Stable.  We have taken our time with him, he has settled in well and had one run in tiring ground where he just got a bit tired.  He is a very exciting prospect.

“Canyouringmeback”  AKA “Sparky” is a stunning gelding that Nick bought at the Cheltenham Sale having won a P2P.  He was second first time out on Boxing Day at Fontwell, he has since  had three more runs and is going to go novice chasing.  He is a buzzy horse and needs to settle a bit more.  He is very quick over his fences and will also appreciate better ground.

Lily soon to be named is leased by :”The Nick Gifford Racing Club”, she is closely related to Deputy Dan trained by Oliver Sherwood as is an exciting prospect .  She is cantering away and will run in a bumper late Spring/Early Summer.

A stunning Chestnut filly that was bought at the Cheltenham November Sale.  She has won a point to point in Ireland and will be running a bumper this Spring.  She is a very exciting filly.


The Mighty Don 2012 gelding   SireShantou (USA) (14.2f)  DamFlying Answer (IRE)


A stunning chestnut gelding owned by :”The Golden Rose Partnership” , he won a bumper and he has won and been placed in five novice and handicap hurdles.  He finished 9th at Cheltenham on ground that was far to soft for him.  He is a good ground horse and may run at Aintree.  He is a quality exciting prospect who we have taken our time with,  Tina Nicks sister has done a lot of work with him on his jumping and getting him stronger.
